The Thesis

The complete capital stack for the space economy.

Venture capital gets a space company off the ground. It is the wrong tool once the company has hardware on orbit producing revenue. The missing tools — debt, infrastructure, insurance — have matured every other capital-intensive industry before this one. Building them for space is what we do.

01

Early-Stage Equity

The spark. Pre-seed through Series B venture capital.

02

Private Credit

The bridge. Non-dilutive, secured debt for revenue-generating assets.

03

Infrastructure & Real Estate

The ground. Workforce housing, labs, and spaceport-adjacent real estate.

04

Insurance Innovation

The enabler. Making space assets insurable — and therefore financeable.

The Team

Three principals. One operating philosophy.

Three decades, three generations of operators across life sciences, energy, real estate, and the space economy. Every position in the portfolio is shaped by people who have run companies, sat on boards, and stayed in the work for the full arc.

Leo B. Womack

Leo B. Womack

Founder and Chairman

Leo has spent his entire career in Houston. He began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen and then purchased a CPA firm in the Texas Medical Center. In the early 80's this firm was acquired by a large national firm and Leo focused on private investments and entrepreneurial activities. Leo was a co-founder and CFO of Park Plaza Hospital (376 beds) until it was sold to a NYSE Hospital Management Company. Later he was involved as the financial principal in founding one of the first surgery center companies, a long-term care hospital, and numerous other life science companies primarily in medical devices.

Eden Grow Systems has been profiled in NASA Spinoff ("Astronaut Life Support for Earth Families"), the Houston Chronicle, Texas Monthly, and FOX 26 Houston, with deployments including downtown Houston's Niels Esperson Building and investment from SpaceFund.
